The Salem Landbank
The Salem Land Bank is a community development effort designed to identify, manage, and redevelop vacant, abandoned, and deteriorated properties throughout the City. By returning these parcels to productive use, the Land Bank helps strengthen neighborhoods, expand the local tax base, and create opportunities for new housing, businesses, and shared spaces.
Working in collaboration with local leadership, residents, non-profits, and developers, the Land Bank provides a transparent process for property acquisition and redevelopment. As the land bank entity, The Authority works closely with the City to reduce blight, encourage investment, and support long-term growth that benefits residents and future generations.

We encourage the community to participate in the process. If you believe there is a property in your neighborhood that would be a fit for the Land Bank, please fill out the form and let us know!
