Congressman Van Drew to Attend Middle Mile Groundbreaking

Elmer, NJ - On Monday, October 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT, Congressman Van Drew will join local officials for the groundbreaking of the South Jersey Middle Mile Broadband Project. Supported by $24.1 million in federal funding secured by Congressman Van Drew, the project will bring more than 180 miles of new fiber infrastructure to South Jersey, increasing competition among internet providers and expanding access to faster, more affordable internet service. The network will also improve connectivity for hospitals, schools, law enforcement, and local businesses.
